PARADOX

The arrangement of this Jon Gordon tune titled 'Paradox' is orchestrated for nonet and string section. It has a second line rhythmic feel with open solo sections, including a vamp at the end for drums. This orchestration can be heard on my forthcoming record, "Chamber Songs." This download includes instrumental parts for trumpet, trombone, alto sax, tenor sax, bass clarinet, guitar, bass, a rhythm part for piano and drums, string parts for two violins, viola, and cello, and a concert score. The arrangement works best when all string parts are doubled.
