Summer in Nunn, 1973

It was the summer of 1973, and Boyd was 10 years old. Boyd and his family lived in Texas, and school had just let out for the summer only the week before. Boyd, his mother Sandra, and younger brother Robb were now all on their way to Nunn, Colorado, to visit Boyd’s grandparents. Little did Boyd know that that summer with his Granddad and Gramma, at their home and farm would end up being the time and place that would define him, and it would guide the rest of his life and its direction.
