This is a fictional story that takes place in the early fifties in New Orleans. A young Air Force Airman encounters a teenage prostitute. When she tells him her story he is filled with compassion and sets out to rescue her from her abusive pimp. Along the way he falls in love and has to wrestle with his own demons before accepting her. Interspersed in the love story are moments of humor from his “official” life in the Air Force.
