Imagine that the man you thought you knew inside and out has an extensive prison record. After finding out he is a felon, you realize that he is about to serve his next prison bid for a crime his mother commit. While he is serving his time, you become forced to endure abuse from his mother and sister. As you go through all of these motions you undergo life threatening surgeries, and pray daily that you are healthy enough to comply with your husbands demands from prison. These are obsticles Mahogany "Maggie" Lawson faces as she battles her health condition called Marfans Syndrome. Maggie always thought that her friends and family were envious of her marriage to her husband Skye. She thought that the abuse that she suffered on a daily bases was a secret. Little did she know that when she finally decided to leave her husband, she would find out that the people who loved her would be ecstatic.
