Atheist's Prayerbook

These are the notes of Conrad Cook, a self-described atheistic mystic who tells the story of going overseas to learn about brotherly love and teach English, but instead being hit by bad luck and cultural misunderstanding. He confides that he has developed a kind of second sight that has on more than one occasion kept him alive, and tells him now something big is about to go down in his life. There's a problem: He does not believe in second sight. Nevertheless, his second sight has so compellingly convinced him of its validity that he has undertaken to put together his notes for those who are interested in reading of his strange journey, and knowing how to avoid the pitfalls he has encountered.
