For nearly a century, rail service along the Weiser River in west-central Idaho was provided on tracks built by the old Pacific and Idaho Northern Railway, the P&IN. Only memories now remain of the once thriving industry that led the way for development of Midvale, Cambridge, Council, and New Meadows.
