EUROPE 1911. It has been twenty-one years since the agents of light: Professor Abraham Van Helsing, Jonathan and Mina Harker, Doctor Jack Seward, Arthur Holmwood, and Quincy Morris, travelled to the Borgo Pass in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania to destroy the vampire, Count Dracula, in his castle. Twenty-one years to the day later and Mina Harker descends the stairs of her home in Exeter, illuminated by the flame of the candle in her pale hand. Awakened from her sleep by the sounds of struggle downstairs, Mina opens the door to the library to witness the pure horror of her son Quincy feeding upon the dying body of her beloved husband Jonathan. The blood dripping from the mouth of the vampire Quincy falls upon the face of his now dead father; Jonathan’s blank eyes gazing emptily upon his wife, Mina, standing in the doorway. Quincy sees his mother, a mix of guilt and amusement in his cold red eyes. And then, Quincy is gone. Out of the now open window and lost in the night. CAN THE PLAYER CHARACTERS REACH TRANSYLVANIA AND DESTROY QUINCY HARKER? For 6-8 players, "Dungeons of Dracula" is a sequel to Bram Stoker's classic novel "Dracula", set 21 years after Stoker's conclusion. The module gives the PCs the chance to either go directly to the Carpathian Mountains and the dungeon, itself; or, travel across a changing Europe by train, having adventures on the way. For Dracula fans and game fans alike. "Dungeons of Dracula" is suggested for more experienced referees and players. Designed for The Hateful Place RPG, the module can easily be adapted for other RPG systems.
