CHERUBS Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Baby Book is a must have book for all new and expectant CDH parents! An atypical baby book with typical baby book contents such as handprints, photos, family tree and vaccination record - but also specialized sections for dealing with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia is a birth defect that occurs when the diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal organs into the chest cavity and preventing lung growth. 1 in 2500 babies are diagnosed with CDH. 50% of babies born with CDH do not survive. The cause is not known. CHERUBS is the world's first, largest and most active CDH charity, helping families in over 38 countries.
