Two of the defining aspects of this, the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times are, ONE: that ALL things pertaining to the Lord’s Kingdom will be gathered together in Christ and offered for the benefit and blessing of man, and TWO: that preparatory to the Lord’s Second Coming, He will gather together the wheat and the tares one last time. It is not by coincidence or happenstance that President Russell M. Nelson has increasingly referenced the Second Coming, hastening of the Lord’s work and the gathering of Israel during his time as Prophet in talks and messaging to the Church and to the world. The final gathering prior to the Lord’s return is now concurrently taking place by both the Savior and the adversary. The principle and doctrine of gathering leaves no middle ground. Every living soul uses their agency every day to choose to whom or what they will be gathered unto. Every day, we choose whether we will be gathered to the Savior Jesus Christ, or whether we will wander along paths that lead us away from Him…gathering us to an abyss. Choose you this day to be gathered to Him who never ceases to offer His whole soul to us – for protection, for solace, for healing, for redemption, for salvation, for exaltation, for joy…forever.
