Your parents did everything they could to teach you all they knew about life, how best to do everything from tying your shoes to how to get a job and everything in between. I know they did a great job helping you become a fully functioning adult. However we can’t fault them for what they don’t know. If they never learned how to do something they would not know how to teach it. We all learned to clean from our parents and some of us excelled at it. Not me, I struggled with it, YES!, it would be cleaned as well as any child could clean something but it always felt off and I couldn’t figure out why. If it was clean shouldn’t it feel good? Well as a child I never did figure it out. I continued to clean as I was taught. I grew up I got married had children and began teaching them all the same things I was taught. Something had to change, why did clean not feel clean. I started studying everything I could find about cleaning and I was already doing most of it. What was I missing why did my home not feel clean, good, pleasant or peaceful. Something was not right. I would look at magazines and books, why did my home not give me the same feeling I got from looking at all of those beautiful pictures. My home went from having very little in it, as a newly wed, to having so much in it, with four children, it felt like there was not room enough for everyone and all of their stuff. Then my children grew up, started their own lives and left most of their childhood stuff behind for me to deal with. Still after all these years all this research you would think I could have figured it out.
