Death Before Dying

The grizzled old man was being very quiet as he tiptoed up the steps and onto the front porch of his house. He paused at the heavy wooden door and doubled checked his rifle to make sure it was loaded, cocked, and ready to fire. Then he slowly turned the knob and burst into the house shouting obscenities as loud as he could while leveling his rifle at the six intruders. They were in the process of trying on his clothes and shoes. Three of them were stark naked and the rest were in various stages of undress. The surprise was total and complete for they didn't try to fight, they just straightened up, raised their hands high and looked at him. The man wondered why they showed no fear. However, that wasn't going to stop him, he would teach them a lesson about how you don't break into a man's home and tear it up as you steal his clothes. Come to think of it, he was going to get all his clothes back and they were going to leave with nothing.
