Eduardo Zotz is a Brazilian author who was born in southern Brazil and has a deep connection to traditional medicine. For over 22 years, he has been studying and practicing these ancient healing traditions, particularly in relation to the use of Yagé (Ayahuasca) and other plant medicines. He has traveled extensively across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, deepening his understanding of various cultural practices and spiritual healing methods. Eduardo has apprenticed with shamans (Taitas) in Colombia and Ecuador, learning the sacred practices of traditional medicine firsthand. Currently, he resides in Ecuador, where he works as a jungle guide, integrating his knowledge of the land and its spiritual significance with his role as a healer and a student of traditional indigenous medicine. His writings reflect his experiences and insights from these journeys, often exploring themes of spirituality, healing, and personal transformation.
