Looking Backward

Julian West falls into a mysterious sleep in nineteenth-century Boston and awakens in the year 2000. The world he discovers is transformed into a highly organised, cooperative society where poverty, inequality, and class conflict have disappeared. Through conversations with his hosts, Julian learns how this future society operates, challenging his assumptions about wealth, work, and social order.
