When Wayne Denton reunites with Rose Reilly, it's up to Roy Lee McAllister to get them safely back to Texas before Bat Masterson's posse finds them. Along the way he'll have to find a home for the Cheyenne Kid, deal with bounty hunters, tornadoes, an amorous prostitute, an amorous Bible saleslady and a man with a wooden gun.
