Fall in PDX

<p>Ah yes, the gold and crimson leaves that carpet the town, the crisp chill in the air, the morning fog, the occasional monsoon-like deluge... any wonder why Autumn in Portland is a much anticipated season for local photographers? <p><a href="http://flickr.com/groups/fipdx/">A challenge</a> was put to Portland Flickrites: Can you capture the essence of Autumn in Portland with just two photographs? Our guess is that after you flip through this book your conclusion will be a resounding 'Yes!' All of the photographs in this book were captured between September 27th and November 30th, 2006 and taken in the greater Portland Metro Area. The photographs were deliberately put in color shift order - black & white to blue to green to yellow to red - from night to morning to day to sunset, just as how the leaves change in fall.
