TURBULENCE

Personable Boeing 747 captain Jeff Harding and his new, young wife have a palatial estate in Ascot, near Royal Windsor, with an enormous mortgage, and a young daughter at an exclusive independent school. He is also paying alimony to his ex wife. A stock market crash leaves Jeff deep in debt, with a lifestyle he can no longer sustain. Eventually he is persuaded to deliver a few innocent packages on his trips to the United States, for large cash in hand payments and no questions asked. This solves his financial problems, but when he is in too deep to back off, Jeff discovers what they really want from him. He is forced to use his occupation to embark on flights to exotic locations around the world, risking his family, life and freedom to satisfy the terrible demands of his blackmailers. On his enforced crusade Jeff discovers three other flight crew members in the same swamp as himself. They band together in an attempt to put an end to their torment, but find things are not quite as they expected.
