Mercurial Dreams

A sudden rain in Death Valley reveals a macabre sight, dozens of mummified bodies. They have scattered across the Racetrack Playa and both the US Marshals Serial Crimes Tracking Unit as well as the FBI are dispatched to see if it is the work of a serial killer or some other circumstance. When the Marshals discover elemental mercury in one of the mummified victims, the clock begins to tick for Aislinn Cain and the Serial Crimes Tracking Unit. They must race to find the killer before he starts creating even more mummies and hiding them in the desert for the sands to swallow.
