Über Imam Hassan Shabazz

Hassan A. Shabazz is an Imam in the language, logic, and reasoning of Imam W. Deen Mohammed (raa) and is a Retired U. S. Army veteran and over 47-year student of Al Islam. He studied under the late Imam Qasim Ahmed (raa) a former national Representative for Muslim American leader Imam Warith Deen Mohammed (W. Deen Mohammed 'raa') in Dallas, TX from 1979 to 1981. On 07/22/1982 he received an Ijaza from the hand of Mufti Mustafa Atay of the Islamic Society of Deutschland certifying his qualifications to teach Islam and to officiate as an imam. He has served as an Islamic Lay leader at numerous military installations from 1981 to 1995. He also served as Resident Imam for the Islamic Center of Dothan from 1986 to 1989 while stationed at Fort Rucker, AL., and as Imam of Al-Qubaa Islamic Center in Newport News VA. from Nov 2021 to July 31, 2022. He is the author of over 20 books on Islam. An he is the process of trying to preserve and codify the Language, Logic and Reasoning of his leader, teacher and guide Imam W. Deen Mohammed (raa).
