Into Africa 2002

An account, based on the author's journal written at the time together with personal reminiscences of some of the participants, of a 'Safari' to East Africa organised for the students of Al Ain English Speaking School, located in the Abu Dhabi Emirate in the UAE. Even at the time of the expedition, Mr T, and indeed AAESS, was very involved with a school in the rural area of Nepal - Shiwalaya Secondary School, Kalleri-Bolde, Kavre District - fundraising having recently started for the schools' development (renovation of a complete block of classrooms). Thirteen years on, a new development plan has been formulated which includes a new classroom being built on top of the one Mr Trillo and friends constructed and furnished in 2006/7. In order to raise funds for a new classroom at Shiwalaya School, a project which is also being supported by Chester Rotary Club, this book is being published, and so... ALL PROFITS WILL GO TOWARDS THE BUILDING OF THE NEW CLASSROOM
