Nepal Adventure 2000: An AAESS Expedition

An account, based on the author’s journal written at the time, of an ‘activity’ expedition to Nepal organised for the students of Al Ain English Speaking School located in Abu Dhabi Emirate, in the U.A.E. The author became involved with a particular school in the rural area of Nepal - Shiwalaya Secondary School, Kalleri, in Kavre District - and his students helped raise funds for the school development. Fourteen years on from the expedition, a new development plan has been formulated which includes a new classroom being built on top of the one Mr. Trillo and friends constructed and furnished in 2006/7. In order to raise funds for this project, which is also being supported by Chester Rotary Club, this book is being published, and so... ALL PROFITS WILL GO TOWARDS THE BUILDING OF THE NEW CLASSROOM It is hoped that the students and adults who participated in this ‘school trip’, as well as their parents (!), will want to purchase a copy of the book knowing that they are supporting a worthy cause.
