The Complete Annie by Leonard Starr Volume One

We are proud to present the first book in a fourteen volume series reprinting the classic comic strip Annie by Leonard Starr. The five stories in this volume, which originally appeared in newspapers, from December 3, 1979 to April 26, 1981 have never been reprinted before. Reuben award-winning artist Leonard Starr wrote and illustrated Annie from 1979 to 2000 and up until now only two of his fifty-eight stories have ever been reprinted since their first appearance. Each volume in the series will include complete Annie stories in the original order that they were published, as well as rare photos and promotional illustrations, many from the original art. In addition to Annie, Leonard Starr is also known as the head writer and uncredited co-creator of the 1980s animated television series ThunderCats.
