Group Effort

From June 2004 to January 2008 I was fortunate to be part of the Thomas Cox Architects (TCA) Team. Two days a week I would wander into the TCA office in Irvine, CA and ask David Smith, the Director of Design, for an assignment. On many occasions I would have several to complete that day. Some of the designs were developed fully with details and building colors while others were no more that a verbal description and a hand gesture describing a volume of space. With this information I would construct a three-dimensional image of the proposed structure in a few hours and present my drawing to the TCA team. During these 44 months I created 426 drawings with a selection of 328 presented for this book. Jeffrey Crussell
