Almost Died Stories: A Memoir

Almost Died Stories: A Memoir develops the life story of an earnest, self-made man, a genuine risk-taker whose resourcefulness never waivers, even into adulthood. These stories span five decades. Geographically, they take the reader from Minnesota to Florida, to Texas and California, places in between, and ultimately, back to Florida again.

Originally intended for his children to teach them to be wary of life’s dangers, and ways to try to avoid them, Jerry Walters' Almost Died Stories is a collection of coming-of-age stories suitable for all readers fond of memoir.

484 pages
