Summers with Dan

A short story (soon to be novel) of a young girl with a troubled life. What will she do about her mother's bad alcohol habits and her parents recent divorce? How will she cope with her father after he abandons her? Who will comfort her? Will she make it on her own, or will she find someone special to help her turn her life around? Based on a true story. This is just the first Chapter, if a lot of people like it, I will continue to write.
