Mystic Ridge

Stonehenge, the Valley of the Kings, Machu Picchu, the Kaaba. These are among the holy places that are immediately recognized for their power. They inspire, frighten, possess; they were once essential to the pursuit of spiritual perfection, the doorways to a greater future, but now they are relegated largely to the imagination. But should they be? Are there other sites that are equally powerful, but recognized only by a few? Are there those who still seek spiritual perfection rather than monetary gain? This is the story of Mystic Ridge and of the people who draw strength from it in their quest to guide humanity's next, final evolutionary step. As humankind has evolved randomly, we have come to infest this planet much like a virulent bacteria that will not stop until it has destroyed its host, along with its own life. There are those who recognize this and are working silently to save us. Is Mystic Ridge mankind's final chance?
