The story is set in Highplains town, a fictitious town in Kenya. It revolves around two women- a no-nonsense highly respected police officer, Chief Inspector Daisy, with high regard for both her family and work. The people in the society and the officers under her charge respect her. On the other hand is a corrupt woman, June who steals and forges her drug-smuggling tycoon of a husband’s insurance policy document with the help of a crooked lawyer and a bunch of notorious criminals, when she discovers that the appointed beneficiary is a concubine of his. The criminals she is conspiring with are very daring and several people are injured, including police officers. She then plots for the murder of her husband but still wants to double-cross the criminals who have helped her.
