Partner in Survival : A Novel

Tim and his sister Claire could not be more different. She is wise from automatic writing. He is an astrophysicist. She possesses absolute knowledge. He is a relativist, never sure of anything. Yet they have both endured the same family tragedy - until she makes a startling discovery. At least, she thinks she does. Claire retreats, seeking the guidance of her channeled sprits. But her brother must investigate, stumbling into a web of elusive clues, lies and a possible murder. As facts emerge, so do parallels between the bizarre world of physics and the tangles of life. Recalling his childhood, an outrageous first marriage and the assumptions made since birth, Tim must find his way amidst a drastically altered landscape. Dr. Perry irreverently challenges our native concepts of truth as the mystery unfolds. Is reality, as suggested by modern physics, a more fluid substance? What then? Can Claire's shocking discovery be true?
