Following a toxic break up with a long term boyfriend, Felicia moves across the country and back to her hometown. She moves in with her spiritual sister and brother-in-law who are constantly using crystals and meditation to try and help her. However, what she needs is not unconventional healing methods—it’s much more practical. She simply needs to get out of her head and find herself.
When a friendly older woman offers Felicia a job of a lifetime, she has no choice but to take it. With nature as its backbone, Felicia begins to discover what happiness feels like. In addition to her new career, she meets a man who runs his family’s funeral parlor. With the help of love from others, Felicia learns that if she lives in the moment, things often find a way of working themselves out.
In spite of Felicia’s progress, the town itself is heading down a dark path. People are going missing in the quiet community of Newtown, Pennsylvania. The police—as well as all the nosy members in this town—try solving the disappearances before it's too late.
Is there a serial killer on the loose? Could black magic be involved? Or is there another explanation altogether?
