A short story of family, proving yourself, and growing up during the Great Depression. "June got up and started to climb the willow to get her thoughts off how much she missed Johanna. As she got higher Lucky started to whimper because she wanted to come up too. She called down to her and told her to stop crying and that she would be down in a minute. When she reached the top and looked down at her house she saw Matt's car pulling into the driveway. She turned to look at the City Hall clock to see the time and saw that it was only 12:05. She wondered briefly why he was home so early, but was so excited at the prospect of being able to spend more time with her brother."
