UPROOTED

Following "Every Time I Landed Here," UPROOTED is the next body of work from artist Katherine Spencer Carey. "The Dinner Parties began in our apartment in 2007. I had the idea that it was high time we all cooked a meal, drank wine, sat down to eat, and discussed our lives like the proper adults we thought we were. The only rule was that we not invite more guests than we had chairs.... UPROOTED is a series of photographs I made throughout 2009.
