Millie's Cook Book

Back in the late autumn of 2010 we were made aware of the plight of a young girl named Millie D'Cruz. Millie had been diagnosed with an incredibly rare genetic illness, so rare that only 17 people in the UK have been diagnosed with it. Metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD) is caused by a deficiency of the enzyme arylsulfatase A, this impairs the growth or development of the myelin sheath. Our vision was to produce a book filled with recipe's that you cook off the top of you head, your speciality dish mixed in with dishes that were child friendly for them to enjoy making. All proceeds from the sale of this book are going to the Help Millie fund for treatment to ensure Millie has the best possible quality of life.
