A Dream of the Past

Marcila doesn’t fit in on her island home of Slinaria. She is a sceptic living among people who thrive on stories and try hard to forget the past. When she finds out her father is alive and abandoned her when she was a toddler, she sets out for the mainland to find him so that she can understand why she is different. On her journey, she forms a bond with a caden and decides she must help fight Gamane in his mission. She meets others who share this vision, including her father. A group of mages and civilians band together to stop the powerful Gamane and end the caden killings.
