Matchless

Complete production notes for the school ballet Matchless. Matchless revolves around Phosy, a loveable Matchmaker, who becomes involved in the 1888 London Match girl strike. Phosy's parents die leaving their daughter and wealth to the guardianship of her uncle, Mephisto. Her uncle has always been jealous of his brothers love and wealth and so promptly has Phosy disposed of by two ruffians. The ruffians fight over the money and ethics of killing an innocent girl and the kinder of the two kills the harsher. He then takes Phosy to London where she is sold into the employ of the Little Lucifer Matchstick Company run by her uncle Mephisto. And then things really get interesting....
