The Mind & The Pen

This chapbook came from a time of self-doubt and writer's block. As I saw other poets around me, I wondered if I could even consider myself a "real" poet... but I am, and I'm reminded of that everyday. No matter how long I go without writing, or how much I may struggle to finish certain poems, I know that poetry is truly life-giving and therapeutic, and a gift from God.
