A Framework for a Self-Renewing Republic

This book offers a number of comments on a possible republican constitution for Australia. It tries to remove as far as possible opportunities for corruption amongst the rulers. To do this examples from history that succeeded in doing this have been used. The most important issue is that the people get an insight into the minds of politicians standing for election. If they have the power to search people's background, it is only fair that the people can view their psychology before deciding whether or not to vote for them.
