For The Sake of Decency

No one particularly enjoys addressing controversial subjects. In fact the vulnerability that immediately results is sufficient grounds for the faint-hearted to desist. There are few areas of concern in our day that are more controversial than the subject of modesty in general and women’s dress in particular. Of course there are other ways to demonstrate immodesty besides clothing. The first portion of this volume is actually a series of sermons prepared to challenge God’s people to be different, to choose a higher road than that which is promoted by the world. It is issued in this format to encourage Christians to think seriously about the issues and to respond biblically. The second portion of this work recently went out of print and therefore was no longer available for our ministry. We deemed this a loss and therefore have endeavored to reproduce it in a somewhat more attractive and easily readable format.
