Revisiting the Past

The past is a foreign country or so it has been claimed. In this book of poetry examines some elements of history, though whether the poems are historically accurate or some version of a possible history is for the reader to decide. From history the poems turn to memory, a notoriously treacherous terrain. We all remember in different ways and with different versions. The poet relates some versions of her own memories for the reader to ponder and possibly find connections with their own.
