The Night Before Eid

The sound of laughter filled the home, the aroma of Henna was in the air, and there were golden lights twinkling in the kitchen, family room, and in the patio. It was the night before Eid al-Adha also known as Feast of the Sacrifice. Muslims around the world celebrate this holiday by observing prayers in the morning, visiting family and friends, and sacrificing an animal, like a cow, goat, or sheep to share the meat with the less fortunate.
