Haikus

The two streams of Neftalí Agrella’s writing - the Futurism and the recounting of life in a port city - come together in his haikus, which are by turns comic, tragic, earthy and abstract. Their wit and charm survived the eclipse of his reputation, and were used to remind readers of his genius upon his eventual rediscovery. (First English translation)
