From the first chapter, the dramatic relationship between Omar and Maxine is plagued my deception. Their mutual friend, Nicole has a hidden agenda. Nicole is jealous of Maxine's attributes, her intelligence, spunky personality and her sentational way with men. Will true love prevail and Maxine and Omar will stay together and beat the odds? Or, will the situation become extremely stressful because Omar cannot cope with the rumors from Maxine's past or the fact that he is becoming a father?
