This is a lovely book for parents to read aloud to small children and perhaps prepare them for situations that can often happen. The first story is about Ben being told that a new baby is going to join the family soon and his reactions to the news. The second story is about Ben’s first day at school and how he copes with that. The Last story is about Ben going into hospital with a bad pain in his tummy and his subsequent operation. Children will enjoy hearing about Ben and looking at the colourful illustrations.
