Kari and Other Stories

A collection of 10 stories ranging from 6 to 60 pages in length. The genre is Realism. The stories cover a variety of relationships (father-daughter, father-son, older man-younger woman, etc.) and settings (the mountains of Alaska, the deserts of southern California, etc.). As backdrop to the relationships, physical activity of various kinds -- hiking, running, biking -- predominates. The stories range from upbeat to tragic, fun to deeply painful.
