Brown toxic fumes blanket the town below the acid plant, and the nearby Dolores River has a yellow, phosphorescent glow. Under the guise of national security and winning the Cold War, absentee owners are poisoning the air and water of a small mountain town, and killing Navajo uranium mine workers in the process. Residents band together to fight back with petitions, injunctions and politics. But it isn’t enough. That’s when Johnny and Roy decide to take matters into their own hands.
