Trade Unions Under Socialism

Trade Unions Under Socialism is a compilation of works on the trade union movement. Volume 1 focuses on Lenin’s thesis on working within the trade unions. It then continues with works documenting the labor movement in the early Soviet Union as well as work of the Red International of Labor Unions (RILU), also known as the Profintern. Much of the texts come from the Trade Union Educational League (TUEL) which served as the US representative to the RILU and led by former General Secretary William Z. Foster.
