Preston Weather Records

The weather must be the most talked about subject. Comments are regularly made such as “That must be the coldest spell for years”, “We’ve never had a summer like 1976” or “It must have rained every day last month”. I started recording the weather to compare spells and to see how accurate people’s memories actually are. This book contains 26 tables containing my summaries of the conditions in Preston since 1977, including rainfall and frosts that makes evaluations by month and year.
