This facsimile edition presents the Khabouris Manuscript, one of the oldest surviving copies of the Eastern Peshitta Gospels, faithfully reproduced in high-resolution Syriac script from the original codex. The content is preserved in its original Aramaic language and script, while English is used for the title, introduction, and accompanying metadata to support accessibility for researchers and cataloging systems. The original manuscript is preserved in the public domain. This edition, created by Ramsin Ishaq in 2025, features digitally cleaned, sharpened, and re-ordered high-resolution images sourced from the 2025 Archive.org release. It preserves the structure and sequence of the codex exactly while improving readability and accessibility for researchers, students, and preservationists. This is not a modern translation; it is a visual restoration of a historic text, created for liturgical, academic, and archival purposes. A Companion Volume is available separately, featuring James Murdock’s 1851 English translation of the Peshitta, complete with his original footnotes and verse references.
