“Even if the problems in Sudan reach the sky, our love for the country will not change or waver, for it is a love engraved in our hearts and a bond that is everlasting.” The purpose of this book is to educate people on the injustices endured by the Sudanese people due to the current Sudanese proxy war and genocide, and hopefully, by doing so, inspire action toward combating this crisis. Through personal memories, real-life accounts, and historical insights, this book reveals the truth about what is happening beyond the elusive headlines of the Sudanese conflict.  Starting with personal memories of growing up in Sudan, to the destruction of our homes, the loss of our loved ones, and the degradation and exploitation of our country, this book shows the cost of a war the world has too often ignored.  By listening to these truths, we honor the lives lost and the tragedies endured. We refuse to let the suffering be forgotten.
