Muhammad: The Prophet — The Human Being Through Whom the World Began to Reach Completion is not a traditional biography of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. It does not seek merely to rearrange historical events or gather scattered virtues. It reads the Prophet as the completion of the meaning of the human being within the project of Maps of the Unseen Dominion. This book asks why Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, is the human being through whom the world began to reach completion: the perfection of servanthood, the first bearer of the Qur’an, and the center of the light through which the Imamate, the Occultation, the Reappearance, the Return, and Eternity are understood. Moving from Adam and the first prostration, through Iblīs and the objection against the human being, to the building of the Muhammadan human being, the Qur’an, Ali, the Imamate, the Occultation, the Mahdian phase, the Return, and Eternity, this book presents Muhammad not only as a historical figure, but as the map by which the human being, guidance, and destiny are understood.
