This is part two of Rhett's memoir, part one being 'Uphill from South Africa'. After reuniting with his wife in 2016, Rhett and Luz were trying to establish themselves in Seattle - but the US government had other plans. And so they had to journey to Mexico and found out they didn't have enough money for her green card; then they began to adapt to a life of being apart part of the time due to financial constraints and politics. This account is followed by some of Rhett's poetry.
