I Believed

A young man, Fritz Burger, recalls in his journal the effect the indoctrination and brainwashing of the Hitler-Jugend had on him during his youth. Fritz agonises over what he was unknowingly led to believe under the Nazi regime. Describing his journey, he finally realizes, with the help of his rescuers, that what he believed was not true. As a result, Fritz comes to understand a new belief system.
